Alien in NY !

It was a pretty nice to has this experience. 3 days ago, I found the article about the Acting workshop in Manhattan, especially FREE! I confess, I didn't interest to the acting very well, but the opportunity to study with real native speaker, and the atmosphere of the class was fascinated me to go there.
Obviously, I got a little bit nervous, even I have lived here around 1 year, but I still feel my English is so POOR. Anyway, the most hardest thing is merely the first step. So I breathed in deeply then walk into the building.
The building wasn't a quite old, I felt something wrong like a murderer waiting for me walked into his trap by myself. Like one of suck horror film I saw name "fear.com", I guess.
I was a first student who came to the class. The teacher was Italian, before that I thought she was Japanese. I inferred from her name. I wouldn't mention about her name,ok?
When the class began, there were 3 students in the class. it was a ridiculous, cause I think it was a free class, not far away, there should have more student than 3 peoples. However, I got 1 more after class started around 30 minutes.
Almost first hour, we did relaxing only, I like this way of relaxing, everyone close their eyes and follow what was teacher said. First, I felt a little bit embarrassed, I was new here, alien, and been the only one who hadn't had any experience like this before, but after awhile, I believed I can do that. preciously, I had to pay attention every single words teacher, but I did it very well.
The atmospheres were nice, smooth, and funny. I like teacher. She tried to push up our and understood my poor pronunciation. I confess I couldn't understand whole scenario that she gave me. It was a scenario of the movie named when Hally met Sally. Of course, once I have saw it, but it had Thai subtitle, and also I totally forgot what the story talked about.
Eventually, 2 hours were gone faster than I thought. it was a great experience for me. I can make a conversation with almost real native speaker. Unbelievable, they understood me too(or might be pretend to be cause felt pity to the poor guy,T-T)
Anyway, if I have a chance to join another workshop again, I will ensure register again. I hope to know more about the real American's ways, culture, and etc.
